Pastor Well's schedule:
Pastor Wells continues to meet obligations of prior commitments and will begin to post office hours shortly. Currently, he is learning the needs of the congregation; as his schedule fluctuates Pastor Wells will respond to needs within the congregation. If you need to meet with Pastor Wells, you can reach him through the church office, home office, or by e-mail.
News of the Week:
Consecration Revival and Community Fellowship
- Revival Service - Friday, May 16th at 7:30 PM. The guest speaker will be Bishop Kenneth H. Moales, Sr, of Prayer Tabernacle Church of Love, Bridgeport Connecticut.
- Pre-Service Musical Saturday, May 17th at 11:30 AM. This will feature Professor Ronnie Felder and The Voices of Inspiration - Brooklyn, New York.
- Fellowship Service - Saturday, May 17th at 12:00 PM The guest speaker will be the Rev. Dr, Alyn Waller, of Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Women's Day Choir Rehearsal Begin Wednesday, April 23rd at 7:00 PM; please come out and lift your voices in praise.This year's theme for Women's Day is "Women Lifted by God's Grace."
Senoir Adult Luncheon This year's theme for the luncheon is "Follow Your Dreams." It will be held on Wednesday, April 30th. Doors open at 10:30 AM and tickets are $15. Please feel free to contact Merle Spearman or Merna Smith for tickets and additional information.
AARP Driver Safety The next driver safety class is being held on May 21st and 22nd. The cost is $10 and forms are available in the church office.
Soda Tabs Needed Help support your local Ronald McDonald House. It won’t take much of your time. Just save the tabs that you get off of sodas, soups or any other cans that have a tab and bring them to the church office. We thank you in advance for your support.
Sunday Brunch We all know that Reformation loves to eat and chat. We are asking members and ministries to commit to prepare and serve brunch after the 10:00 A.M. service. Please contact Dianna Blakely to help out.
Television help If you are going to need a converter box for your analog TV in 2009, there are applications available now in the narthex for coupons towards the converter box.

The Anointed Motions Praise Dance Ministry:
will rehearse on Saturday afternoon for all children and young adults, ages 7 to 20, who want to participate in praise dancing during selected Sunday morning services. The rehearsal starts at 11:00 a.m. promptly. See Lina Baker for details.
CALLING ALL ACOLYTES!
Acolytes are still needed for our morning worship service. If you have a child who is in grades 4-8, and is interested in becoming an acolyte, please contact Neysa Green as soon as possible (see church directory for phone number). Acolytes meet on Saturday mornings for training.
Technology Donations Requested
The Technology Group is asking for donations to purchase a CD/DVD recorder player to complement the system we already have. If you can make a donation, please contact Larry Edwards (see church directory for phone number).
Medical Ministry (Connecting Center) has restarted. If you are interested in helping the congregation address health issues, please contact Mary Johnson (see church directory for telephone number, or at Maryincharge@aol.com).
The Stewardship Committee still has information and forms available for “SIMPLY GIVING”. Any member interested in electronic giving, please contact Barbara Blount, Penny Jones, or Charline Kent.

If you have an announcement to be placed in the bulletin for an upcoming Sunday, please place it in the box that is clearly marked “ANNOUNCEMENTS” on the shelf behind the office (in the back hallway). You may also call it in by 12:00 noon on Thursday. Please put your NAME on your announcement in case you need to be contacted.
CONGREGATIONAL MISSION STATEMENT:
THE PURPOSE OF REFORMATION LUTHERAN CHURCH is to participate in the mission of Jesus Christ by living lives of thankfulness for all that we have received from God and reaching out to serve the needs of one another in Mt. Airy and beyond. We do this by:
